The Best Investment in Islam

If you have some money saved up, you probably think about investing it —maybe in stocks, gold, or even starting a small business. Because just letting it sit there and collect dust isn't the smartest idea. This life is important, and striving to earn a living is part of our responsibility. Allah reminds us in the Qur'an: ‘But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the Home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world.’ (Qur'an 28:77) While this life has its place, it shouldn’t be our only concern. In the same way we’re eager to invest our money and grow it in this world, we also need to think about investments for the Hereafter.
